Many of us here in Western North Carolina experienced damage to our homes due to effects of Hurricane Helene in September of 2024. Unfortunately, water damage was determined by insurances to only be covered by flood insurance policies. FEMA also refused to help with the damages incurred due to the storm. Once they opened the wall and treated the mold, there was more moisture than expected and it took a few weeks to get dry, but Doug and Jared stuck with it until the readings were acceptable. Patient, thorough and reasonably priced for good quality work. Did what they said they would do.

From the beginning dealing with NOMOLDWNC was a very positive experience. Preston and Doug came for the free estimate they took air samples (which we had to pay for the lab charges), did a thorough visual inspection of our 3000 sq foot home. They obviously knew what they were doing and gave an explanation of what they discovered, what it might mean, and how it could be remedied. Completely professional and no pressure tactics. Our quote for remediation was fast, complete, and reasonable in price. The day set for remediation went smoothly, Technicians David and Jerod were on time, professional, and thorough. They did a wash a scrub, and dry fog. Upon leaving they left commercial air scrubbers (for 48 hours) on each level and David explained that the scrubbers would capture any dead mold in the air. We cannot recommend NoMoldWNC more highly. From beginning to end they were courteous, professional, extremely proficient, and affordable. NoMoldWNC did an amazing job on the mold assessment and remediation of our crawl space. Shade and Bryant were very flexible and quickly solved some obstacles we had with it being new construction. They also worked extremely hard to make sure that all the mold was removed, including bringing in additional help, working more days that originally planned, and making multiple trips to add additional fans and scrubbers. Shade communicated with us daily to give us updates and was so patient with the amount of work that it took to get the mold completely removed. Since acquiring my small cabin in WNC, I have had nothing but nightmares and disappointments with contractors, handymen, services, etc. Abusive charges for shoddy and disastrous work. The NoMold team was very thorough and did good work. They were communicating throughout the process and let me know the schedule of how things were going. They did significant work in my crawl space and the interior. It went generally smooth.

After years of health issues, some of which probably resulted from mold, and several inspections that didn't identify the source, the guys at NoMoldWNC took care of the problem, locating and removing contaminated drywall and other materials. Some of the work was pretty grubby, but they handled it. They brought in a radon specialist, who discovered that the radon system put in by the original owners was wrongly configured and also unnecessary. Their fogging process was really effective--we feel better, and the tests indicate that we aren't experiencing mold now. NoMoldWNC did a phenomenal job on mold removal in three locations on my property. One was an RV that had been sitting for awhile and developed mold inside. With this they were able to run the eco friendly mold treatment through the air condition ducts which helped prevent future molding.
